Amanda Holden admits she ‘forgets her knickers’ and shares insight into private life
Britain’s Got Talent beauty Amanda Holden has admitted live on her Heart radio show that she often forgets to pack underwear when she goes on lavish holidays with her family
Amanda Holden has given a rare glimpse of her life away from the spotlight.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 53, is a mother to daughters Lexi and Hollie Hughes who share shares with husband Chris Hughes. The pair tied the knot back in 2008.
During the latest episode of Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden on Tuesday (February 20), the conversation landed on things people forget after one of the radio show producers turned up to work in shorts, after forgetting his trousers.
Jamie told listeners: “We want to know the most embarrassing thing you’ve forgotten, that’s the big question today. Amanda replied: “What, going to work or just going on holiday?” Jamie replied: “Anything, the more imaginative.”

Co-host Amanda “I tell you what I always forget. Knickers.” Jamie replied: “Right.” She continued: “I pack dre’, my husband calls them gowns, ‘Why have you packed all these gowns? We’re going on holiday you don’t need these’ . I pack all the shoes to match, all the bags to match, and for my children. I’m really good at packing, and I forget their knickers and I forget our knickers and we constantly have to do a wash-through when we’re on our holidays and I get on the radiators.”

It comes after Amanda posed completely naked to mark her 53rd birthday earlier this month. She posed nude for a stunning new photoshoot. Leaving little to the imagination, the Heart FM radio presenter and Wild At heart actress looked like she didn’t have a care in the world despite not having a stitch on and being so close to a sheer scary drop.
The eye-popping snaps were taken by her pal and hair stylist, Christian Vermaak and she wore wore nothing but a simple necklace and a smile. Her trademark blonde locks were styled down and were left to blow in the wind as she closed her eyes and soaked up the sun. One fan gushed: “Wow! Happy birthday gorgeous.” Another added: “Such a tease but we all love it don’t ever change my dear.” A third person posted: “Wow girl, you certainly knock it out the park just gorgeous. Where else can I say speechless!!”. Someone else wrote: “You look absolutely amazing Amanda you are one hot gorgeous lady.”

She went back to work on Monday wearing a double denim outfit from LK Bennett – the Ami Organic Cotton Denim Waistcoat, £139, and the matching wide-leg denim trousers, £179. Amanda shared: “She continued: “At the moment, they are sucking in all this tummy because, as you know, I had five birthday cakes. “Because my husband thought it was funny to tell absolutely everybody in the hotel it was my birthday, so I had a lot of cake.”
