Inside Princess Andre’s desperate bid to save mum Katie Price from ‘conman’ husband plus how distraught daughter reacted
We reveal how the last few weeks have rocked their already fraught relationship – plus Junior’s reaction to Katie’s shotgun wedding
SCROLLING through TikTok, Princess Andre couldn’t believe her eyes. Not only had her mum Katie Price married a stranger, but countless videos claimed he was a conman with a terrifyingly dodgy past.
It was a huge blow for the 18-year-old TV star, who has only recently fixed her relationship with her mum following a particularly tough period. Now we can reveal she is determined to help her mum in whatever way she can. Here, insiders tell us of the teen’s desperation and how her brother is handling it.
Our insider said: “Princess learnt about her mum’s wedding online like everyone else and has been completely horrified.
“She’s read the stories and all the stuff on TikTok about his ex wives and instantly alarm bells started ringing.”
We can reveal that Princess helped stage an intervention between her mum and Lee Andrew’s exes Alana Percival and Crystal Janke in a bid to prevent her from ever returning to Dubai and Lee.
The insider continued: “Princess is very sharp and realised straight away that if her mum wouldn’t listen to her or any of their family, she might take on board what women in the same situation have had to say about it all.

“She saw her mum a few days ago and forced her to speak to Alana and Crystal to hear their side of the story.”
Her plan worked and we can reveal that Katie had a top secret phone call with both of the women.
Our insider explained: “Princess really thought her mum had taken on board what Alana and Crystal were telling her and it looked as if she was going to leave Lee. Katie was saying all the right things and it was looking very promising.
“But at the eleventh hour she did a U-turn, leaving Princess utterly heartbroken and deeply concerned. Everyone is so worried about Katie. No child should be left with such fear about what is coming for their parent.”
We’re told it’s put incredible strain on their already fraught relationship.
Unfortunately over the weekend her worst fears were realised as, against the judgement of her nearest and dearest, Katie flew out to reunite with her new husband Lee Andrews in Dubai following their quickie wedding.
It’s only been a few weeks since The Sun revealed that Katie’s new man had got down on one knee after just weeks of knowing her, and married her a day later. Within hours, information about who self-proclaimed millionaire Lee really is came to light and we exposed him as a real life ‘Walter Mitty’.
Lee dated Alana and Crystal at the same time — and allegedly took £123,000 from the latter.
In a bombshell interview, Alana previously told us: “Katie should run for the hills. Lee is a liar, a narcissist and I think he’s a manipulator.
“Once I tried to leave him, he told me had a heart condition and was living on borrowed time.
“Lee doesn’t know what’s fact and what’s fiction.
“It’s worrying because I think he believes his own lies.”
In a shock twist, it emerged that Alana had got engaged to Lee in September in the exact same way as Katie – at Dubai’s Burj Khalifa hotel, with petals spelling: “Will you marry me?”
And two weeks before that, Crystal believed Andrews was going to ask her to marry him there too.
Our insiders said: “Princess has read the interviews with both of the women and was just so shocked by it all. She really thought they would be able to stop her mum and they were so close.
“She feels like she has done everything she can at this point. And now she’ll just have to sit back and watch the car crash unfold with everyone else.”
Junior’s ‘different approach’
Princess’ brother Junior has had somewhat of a different approach – rather tellingly, we have been told that the rapper, who is “very close” to dad Peter and stepmum Dr Emily, has not contacted his mother to offer his congratulations on her marriage to Andrews.
A source said: “Junior is used to Katie’s increasingly erratic behaviour, but even this took him by surprise.
“He is so fed up with his mum’s constant dramas. He wants no part in it. He’s hardly going to send a congratulations message about a bloke he hasn’t even met.”
Princess has given clues to her hurt feelings though – taking to TikTok in the days following her mum’s wedding ceremony to post two emotional videos, including one featuring a tearful girl.
The writing on top of the clip reads: “I feel everything very deeply” with an accompanying voiceover on top of the clip that says: “I’m such an incredibly, stupidly, sensitive person that everything that happens to me I feel everything really intensely.”
Another featured a teen girl getting into bed and wiping tears from her eyes as she lets out a sigh.
The writing on top reads: “When the smallest thing upsets me, and now I have to be non-verbal and easily irritated for hours until I can let it go”.
It certainly hasn’t come at a good time for Princess, who is about to launch series two of The Princess Diaries.
Yet again it seems drama with her mum has hijacked her moment.
Last year when Princess was set to step out into the limelight alone for the first time, Katie was left furious after the teenager was reportedly told to “distance herself” from her “low-rent” mum.
Stealing the show
We revealed how telly bosses deliberately cut the former glamour model out of Princess’ show, because it was “not good for Princess to be seen with Katie”.
In a bid to market the youngster as a pretty, middle-class influencer, they even turned down Katie’s team’s offer to film for free for three days.
Katie and her sister Sophie addressed the snub on a number of occasions on their podcast, which is currently on hiatus.
Katie raged: “Certain people don’t think it’s good for Princess to be seen with me. Certain people that used to look after me.”
Her sister Sophie chipped in: “You aren’t on brand Katie. You are too risky Katie that’s why.”
Katie then said: “It’s pathetic. I’m her mother.
“I’m just saying, Princess was like ‘I’m having a party’. And I wasn’t invited because it was for ‘filming.’”

The whole thing left Princess in a very difficult situation and she felt the need to explain her side of the story.
Speaking to The Guardian, she simply said it was because her parents, “don’t like each other”.
The article then confirmed that Katie wasn’t invited to the birthday dinner organised by Peter, but that was always the plan.
Explaining further, Princess said: “It would be quite strange for my mum and dad to be in it (the birthday dinner) at the same time, just because that’s never been the case in my life since they split up.’’
A surprise ending
Interestingly, Katie and Peter have finally decided to end their 17-year feud – releasing a joint statement vowing to stop badmouthing one another after a string of bitter public spats.
The Sun was told Katie had spent months refusing to agree to Peter’s desperate attempts to make peace.
But friends claimed their children, Junior and Princess, were the reason she eventually decided to accept her ex-husband’s olive branch.
It was a huge step and no doubt a real victory for Princess. She might not have managed to stop her mum from seeing Lee again, but at least one aspect of her life should be easier.
