“Adolescence” is now Netflix‘s second-most-watched English-language series ever, dethroning Season 4 of “Stranger Things.”
As of June 1, the U.K. limited series has reached a total of 141.2 million views since its launch on March 13, 80 days ago. Netflix measures its all-time popularity lists within each title’s first 91 days of viewing, and during that window for “Stranger Things” Season 4 in 2022, it reached 140.7 million views.

Only “Wednesday,” which hit 252.1 million views in its first 91 days of streaming in 2022, comes ahead of “Adolescence” and “Stranger Things” Season 4. And when including non-English language titles, “Squid Game” Season 1 comes in on top with 265.2 million views, and Season 2 slots in between “Wednesday” and “Adolescence” with 192.6 million views.
The No. 1 most-watched title of the week of May 26 to June 1 was “Sirens,” which hit 18.2 million views, up from its chart-topping 16.7 million-view debut the week before. It was followed by “Cold Case: The Tylenol Murders,” which debuted with 11.9 million views in its first four days of availability.
Next, in third place, was “Dept. Q” with 6 million views in four days. “American Manhunt: Osama bin Laden” had its third week on the chart at No. 4 with 5.4 million views, followed by the third week of “Bet” with 2.9 million views. Next, “Raw: 2025” made the chart as per usual, with the May 26 edition landing at No. 6 with 2.6 million views.
“The Four Seasons” is currently the longest-running title on the chart, having landed at No. 7 in its fifth week on Netflix, during which it reached 2.4 million views. Behind it, in a three-way tie with 2.3 million views, were “Fred and Rose West: A British Horror Story” in its third week, “She the People” in its second week and “Forever” in its fourth week.
