This Morning Viewers have suggested that host Ben Shephard enjoyed a wine tasting segment a little too much after he got the giggles over the Love Island boys’ ‘bulges’.

Joe Garrett, Michael Griffiths, Chris Taylor and Danny Williams were all appearing on the show modelling swim trunks.

Host Ben repeatedly mentioned the boys ‘bulges’ and told sandwich maker Joe that ‘there wasn’t much room in the lunch box’ as the camera zoomed in on his crotch.

He then pointed at Danny’s shorts and asked him did he mind the ‘bulging’.

‘It really drives me mad when my swimming trunks bulge,’ he told co-host Rochelle Humes, who, according to Ben, is a ‘trunks expert’.

The 44-year-old then got the giggles once again as Michael slid down a water slide before the camera zoomed in for a close up.

‘It’s not very gratuitous,’ Ben said of the fireman’s close up.

Ben and Rochelle were the first to admit that perhaps they had a little too much wine on the early morning show.

Both knocked back several glasses of wine during a wine tasting segment shortly before the Love Island boys turned up in their togs.

‘We’ve drunk too much rose,’ Ben said.

‘I need to sober up,’ Rochelle added.  She also said she was trying to ‘avert her eyes’ so she didn’t have to eye up the Islanders’ bulges.
