Reese revealed the promise she made to herself a year prior to the event.
The WNBA star became the first athlete to walk the runway for lingerie giant Victoria’s Secret on Wednesday.

4She joined supermodels such as Gigi and Bella Hadid as she modeled some very revealing outfits on stage.
And in the wake of the occasion, the 23-year-old took to social media to look back on her journey to this point.
She uploaded a post to her X account, where she has almost 720,000 followers, on Saturday night.
The post read: “I really used to work at Smash Burger & now i’m a VS model AHAHHA.”
It has certainly been a meteoric rise for the power forward since hitting the national stage with the Chicago Sky in 2024.
Now having reached the end of her second season, she is already a two-time All-Star and one of the biggest names in the league.
She has helped take the WNBA into the mainstream away from the court thanks to her large following.
She boasts over FIVE MILLION Instagram followers, and has also graced the cover of Vogue magazine.
But this has been a particular target for the star, revealing after the performance that she had set her sights on the event a year prior.
She said: “I posted on my [Instagram] Story last year, when I was here at the show watching front row.

“I said, ‘I’m gonna be a Victoria’s Secret model one day.’
“I didn’t know it was gonna come this fast.”
Reese is no stranger to wearing more risque fashion choices, often sharing images of herself at events or on holidays in her head-turning outfits.
And Reese said she embraces that side of her persona after the show.
She said: “I’m not going to shy away from looking like this, because I work my a** off for this body.
“Being sexy is just something that I love and always embrace.”

While the star continues to make a splash away from the court, she was recently at the center of a dramatic saga with her team, the Chicago Sky.
She was handed a half-game suspension by the team following explosive comments she made to the Chicago Tribune.
She slammed inaction from the team, telling the outlet: “We have to get good players. We have to get great players. That’s a non-negotiable for me.
“We can’t settle for what we have this year.”
The spat has fueled speculation over a potential trade for Reese in the off-season – if the league can get over its current chaos caused by a dispute with its players over pay.
